Ned Gulley pointed me at this talk by fellow-Mathworkser Steve Eddins that hits a lot of the same core ideas as Software Carpentry. Time to convert SC to a wiki, I think, and start pushing it again…

I’m proud to be part of the community of grumpy minds. Your American Scientist Online article provided part of the inspiration for my talk, which has been well received by my fellow engineer-types. The reading list at the end of my handout sends people to Software Carpentry.
